Uno De 50

I love Uno De 50, the Spanish jewellery and accessories brand, was founded in the 1990s by a group of artistic and rebellious designers headed by Concha Díaz del Río. The jewellery moto are for people who do not go for the conventional, but have personality in their style. The designers are inspired by every day details in the world and the idea of a one-of-a-kind personality.

They create 50 units of each design, so that whoever had one piece would have only one of the existing 50, giving name to the brand, UNO de 50. Wish I understood this when I saw the Picasso look a like watch I missed out on. Uno de 50 (“one of” 50), a fashion jewelry brand gives a  rebellious and ironic themed to all its collections. The shop decor is really funky and nicely displayed. The draws where the pieces are held are very quirky and allows you to touch, try and feel the jewellery without feeling pressured to buy.

The original pieces are hand made by the company in Spain. Images taken in El Born February 2012.
