Cannes Film festival 2012
Cannes Film festival is the perfect place to showcase anything and everything opulent. The red carpet events are my favourite. The gowns are amazing and I am ex-tactic to see what will be worn this year? It comes to no surprise to me that the opulent label Chopard and sponsor for the 12 festival, will reveal a unique piece of jewellery. They are designing a one-off piece of jewellery for a mystery star at the Cannes Film Festival in honour of the event’s face, Marilyn Monroe. Who will be the mystery star? I am guessing Michele Williams?
During the 12-day festival, now in its 65th year, Chopard are also planning an exhibition of 25 unpublished photographs of the star taken by Milton Greene. Cannot wait to see that? More exciting the Marilyn Monroe exhibition will tour world wide so you will get a chance to view it. The following images are of dresses over the years that have dominated the red carpet.
