One of my favourite local fashion designers in Australia. I always make an effort to see her girlie chic wear. I just love it, plus the presentation of the shop is girl’s fairytale dream. Australia’s reigning queen of romantic, girlie fare, designer Alannah Hill has worked her whole life to build an iconic fashion empire around her love of colour, flowers and sequins.
Alannah Hill is well-known in Australia and internationally for her “girly chic” fashion label and boutique chain. The range also includes corporate wear and exclusive couture evening gowns. Accessories include handbags, jewellery and shoes.
In 1996, Hill launched the Alannah Hill label, opening her first boutique one year later. Today she boasts 14 boutiques in Australia, 14 branded boutiques in David Jones and an online store that will go global in July. This year, Hill will unveil a new swimwear range.
